Founded in 2009 in El Paso, Texas, today Palette Hotels as a leading hotel management company manages well over forty properties and growing. We are recognized as innovative market leaders, specializing in repositioning distressed and underperforming properties straight to the top of their competitive sets. It is not an easy trajectory, but we have learned how to make even the toughest properties in the toughest markets a success. It takes a team that understands each aspect of the hospitality business to reestablish and maintain healthy properties. Our leadership team collectively brings over a century of hospitality management expertise. Palette Hotels operates at a remarkably low staff turnover made possible by our personalized approach and tailored professional development. This allows us to provide you, our partners, with consistency, dependability and command of our competencies.
Today, we, as a hotel management company operate in over 26 cites, establishing a name for ourselves in operational excellence and robust fiscal health. OUR TIMELINE
In 2004
• The Palette Hotels roots are planted with our first major renovation property, the Holiday Inn Vail, CO. A premier vacation destination property with two restaurants, a full spa and vendor kiosks.
• Palette Hotels is awarded the highest RevPar performers in the IHG southwest region.
In 2009
• Palette Hotels Developments is created with the “Founding Four” team with the acquisition of our first full service IHG Hotel in El Paso, Texas.
• Palette Hotels renovates & operates one of the most historic hotel properties in El Paso and revitalizes the property’s iconic F & B venue.
In 2011
• Palette Hotels’s first branded conversion property in El Paso, TX.
In 2014
• Palette Hotels’s footprint scales through West Texas by adding properties with IHG, Hilton and Marriott International.
• Palette Hotels employs over 300 associates.
• Palette Hotels embarks on receivership and disposition business.
In 2015
• Marriott approves Palette Hotels Developments to manage all select service brands.
• IHG approves Palette Hotels to manage upper upscale lifestyle brands.
• Palette Hotels’s support team grows substantially.
• Palette Hotels penetrates the DFW metro area with the acquisition & opening of a newly constructed IHG property in the premier master planned community of Legacy West Plano, TX. This commences Palette Hotels’s growing portfolio in DFW.
In 2016
• Palette Hotels embarks into the urban upscale lifestyle brand market with the conversion of the Hotel Indigo in El Paso. TX., our flagship property and the winner of numerous design awards.
• Palette Hotels takes on the renovation and operations of a large scale full service IHG property in Beaumont. TX and adds to its portfolio in the southeast Texas region.
In 2017
• Palette Hotels Developments employs over 750 associates.
• Marriott International recognizes and approves Palette Hotels Developments to manage its full service collection.
• Palette Hotels penetrates the Southwest market in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada with IHG and Marriott branded properties.
In 2018
• Hilton Worldwide approves Palette Hotels to manage all Hilton select service brands.
• The partnership continues with two more Hilton properties in South Texas.
• Palette Hotels employs over 1,000 team members and additional central support teams.
• Palette Hotels wins the IHG Torchbearer award.
• Palette Hotels receives the 5 of 5 award at the annual IHG Conference and is honored with the Best Renovation Award for Formula Blue.
In 2019
• Palette Hotels embarks on an asset management partnership with the Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport.
• Palette Hotels is approved as full service operators by Hilton Worldwide.
• Palette Hotels expands its presence in the Dallas- Fort Worth metroplex with four more properties spanning from extended stay to large full service properties with large F & B operations.
In 2020
• Palette Hotels acquires 6 more properties in the Houston, Austin and Dallas- Fort Worth metroplexes, TX.
2021
• Palette Hotels oversees assets valued over $300,000,000.
• Operating 4300 rooms.
• Co-Investors in over 30 properties.
• Programs, manages and caters over 100,000 sq. ft. of event space.
• Manages over 130,000 sq. ft of Class A office space.
2022
• Palette Hotels opens its second Hotel Indigo, this time in Houston, TX.
• Palette Hotels expands its corporate presence with an office in Dallas, TX.
