Punit focuses on developing and growing assets under management whilst creating meaningful partnerships with various stakeholders. He oversees debt and equity capital sourcing, acquisition structuring, hotel development and redevelopment, finance management, cash management, and strategic assignments. He also plays an integral role in guiding investments and business development strategies. He excels in establishing accounting infrastructure and transparent financial reporting as well as integrating processes and systems upgrades. After 7 years of opening upscale brands like Westin and Sheraton with Starwood hotels in South Asia, Punit joined Esperanto Developments. Amongst his achievements are many accolades like GM of the Year 2014, Best Ramp up Hotel 2013 to name a few. He has also worked with Pyramid Hotel Group in Boston as Director of Finance managing multiple funds and its assets. Punit has an MBA Finance from Bryant University, RI and is a Six Sigma green belt. Leticia Arreola, has 21 years of human resource management experience, the last 7 years have been in the hospitality arena. She has notable experience in strategic human resources performance management, federal and state law compliance, employee benefits, training and development, and management coaching. In her role with Esperanto Developments, Leticia leads, develops and elevates all Human Resources services, policies and programs. She proactively collaborates and partners with the Esperanto team to ensure they are delivering best in class support throughout the Human Resources discipline. Her prior experience is with global HR leading companies like FEDEX and Raytheon.Leticia holds a MBA, Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and is a member of Human Resources Management (SHRM) with a Professional Human Resources Certification. She is also a member of the Civil Service Commission for the City of El Paso. In her free time, you will find her shopping at Dillards!!

Corporate Director of Sales and Marketin

A 50 year veteran in the Hospitality Industry. Michael has 23 years of experience working with Marriott International, followed by leadership positions with various management companies balancing a wide range of roles in Sales, Marketing and Operations. Married to Debbie, Mike has four sons, two grandsons and a granddaughter on the way. And yes, he is a big Dallas Cowboy fan!

Regional Director of Operations

Bringing over 13 years of hotel experience, Justin started in the hospitality business as a Bellman which gave him motivation to continue in our exciting and rewarding industry. Justin has worked in all hotel departments and eventually gained a general managing role for 6 years prior to becoming Esperanto’s Regional Director of Operations. As RDO, Justin provides tremendous amount of operational support to our General Managers making them successful and efficient in our company’s Vision and Mission. Supporting multiple brands such as Hilton, Wyndham, IHG, Choice, and La Quinta within our portfolio. Along with day to day operations his role also consists of the budgeting process and assisting in new hotel openings. Justin enjoys to work on cars and take time to share his love for fish tanks.

Corporate Controller

Teresa has been pivotal in the growth of Esperanto as one of the first team members. She has grown with Esperanto assuming many roles and now her main focus is to manage the hotel accounting for a cluster of hotels along with corporate cash management. Her expertise lies in tax audits, internal controls and in managing centralized accounting partners. Teresa in her 17 years of experience in accounting and working with global brands like IHG, Marriott and Levi’s, has done many hotel pre-openings and setup TABC Permits, Sales & Use and Occupancy tax permits, Bank accounts, Insurances, Mortgages, Merchant Services etc. Teresa has a large family and she loves to be with her 8 grandchildren!!!

Corporate Controller

Sheila’s focus is to manage the hotel accounting for a cluster of hotels and work closely with the hotel General Managers to assist them with all their financial activities. With over 30 years of hotel experience in all aspects of operations and accounting, which include Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, IHG and Choice hotel brands. Her past hotel experience also includes Sales & Catering, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources and Front Office Operations; with her most recent experience as a multi-property General Manager before joining the Esperanto team. Sheila has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Ashford University, Iowa.

Corporate Director of Accounting

With more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience, Ana maintains oversight of the accounting department, especially the integrity of all reporting, budgeting and cash management activities for the company and its properties. She has been instrumental in transitioning hotels, training General Managers and setting up compliant procedures. Before joining Esperanto Developments, she was at HMC for ten years as Accounting Manager. In her free time, she is managing her busy household, family events and two beautiful babies.

Mauro began his career in the hospitality industry over ten years ago. His responsibilities include all aspects of operations and the overall financial performance of each hotel. Prior to his role as Regional Director of Operations, he joined Esperanto Developments in 2013 as Director of Brands ensuring the entire portfolio accomplished Brand initiatives. His current portfolio consists of recognized brands such as Marriot, Hilton, IHG and Choice Hotels. His mission is to empower his team to achieve stellar results in all aspects of the Hospitality spectrum.

Corporate Administrative Assistant

Linda Snow has been with Esperanto Developments since 2009. During her tenure she’s worked a variety of positions to include: Area manager, general manager and front desk supervisor. She comes with over 30 years of Hospitality experience. Linda recently took a position working in the Human Resource Department as a HR coordinator. She works in tandem with the General Managers ensuring policies, recruitment and payroll are executed. An active co-chair of Esperanto Cares committee, she works diligently to work hand in hand with our community partners. On her days off Linda enjoys gardening and exercising and spending time with her husband, Johnny.

Staff Accountant

Nina is the newest addition to the accounting team and is currently responsible for the properties overall accounting and financial management requirements. She works closely with the property General Managers to meet the strategic goals of the organization. She is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Nina is new to the hotel industry, but brings with her over 13 years of experience in hospital billing and accounting. She is a member of the CARE-ES Committee, and enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Administrative Assistant

Zinzia is a Human Resources administrator who works with H.R. Director to help and develop strategies to enhance the people management in the organization. Additionally, she helps administer our employee benefit platform and is in charge of creating and launching the company’s Newsletter. She is an active member of the company’s volunteering program: CARE-ES which has organized collections and events for organizations such as: Humane Society of El Paso, Child Crisis Center, and Habitat for Humanity. CARE-ES is also in charge of organizing Esperanto’s annual Picnics and Christmas Party. Zinzia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Advertising and Marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor’s degree in Clothing, Textiles and Fashion Merchandising from New Mexico State University. When she’s not at work she loves to travel, and going to the movies.
